Each piece of our Tanzanite has its own personal story, from mine to market. We go as far back as the miner who discovered your stone - from cutting, to polishing, and its journey to sale.
It’s extremely rare to find companies who work closely with local miners, but here at Blue Zebra we are dedicated to recognizing their stories, their efforts and their skill. Local miners contribute over 80% of the world’s Tanzanite production and they don’t deserve to be forgotten along the way.
We are also one of the very few companies who cut and polish our own stones, therefore ensuring we present the highest of quality to our customers. Each piece of tanzanite is expertly assessed and is accompanied by an accurate and detailed description.
